What you will do

• Lead a full-stack POD to design, build, and operate domain microservices and UIs using C#/.NET Core, React, and React Native on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Own domain outcomes including reliability, latency, availability, security, and user experience for a 24/7 global trading platform.
• Drive technical direction for domain boundaries, microservice decomposition, API/data contracts, and observability standards.
• Oversee containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), ensuring efficient resource utilization and deployment reliability through GitOps.
• Champion DevOps culture, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation.
• Mentor and develop engineers at multiple levels, creating a high-trust, high-accountability culture across global locations.

Requirements

• Candidates must have appropriate rights and documentation for employment in London, United Kingdom.
• 7–14 years in software engineering with at least 3+ years in a tech lead or engineering management role.
• Proven experience leading full-stack, product-focused teams in fintech, high-throughput, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong hands-on background in C# and .NET Core (6/7/8+), RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture patterns.
• Practical experience with Azure services: App Services, AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL Database, and Cosmos DB.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes (AKS) fundamentals and solid DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, IaC, Docker, GitOps principles).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern frontend stacks (React, state management, TypeScript) and mobile (React Native) sufficient to review designs and unblock full-stack teams.
