What you will do
- Achieve significant annual order intake, generally in magnitude of $50M+, in assigned program areas.
- Identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and develop new clients and partners, and maintain existing relationships.
- Develop and execute capture strategies using hirify.globalβs Lead to Award (L2A) process.
- Support the development and positioning of hirify.global capabilities to create and win opportunities within the Canadian defence & security market.
- Lead complex pursuit and capture teams, developing win themes and capture strategies.
- Assist in preparing and submitting winning proposals for your assigned opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or greater in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or practical experience in a related technical field.
- 12+ yearsβ experience in the Canadian Defence and Security industry, with 6+ years of experience in Canadian Defence procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of military operations and/or technology through military service in Canada or an allied country, or through related industry experience.
- Excellent business acumen, strategic mindset, and proven networking skills within the Canadian defence industry, DND, PSPC, and ISED.
- Ability to hold a NATO SECRET Security Clearance & Controlled Goods Clearance.
- Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or with a valid Work Permit.
- English: B2+ required. Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
