Location: Based in Ottawa, Canada, with the possibility to work from home occasionally. Requires 25-40% travel within Canada and 10% overseas travel.

Salary: $125,700 CAD – $175,700 CAD annually, plus commissions and/or bonus.

What you will do

• Achieve significant annual order intake, generally in magnitude of $50M+, in assigned program areas.
• Identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and develop new clients and partners, and maintain existing relationships.
• Develop and execute capture strategies using hirify.global’s Lead to Award (L2A) process.
• Support the development and positioning of hirify.global capabilities to create and win opportunities within the Canadian defence & security market.
• Lead complex pursuit and capture teams, developing win themes and capture strategies.
• Assist in preparing and submitting winning proposals for your assigned opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or practical experience in a related technical field.
• 12+ years’ experience in the Canadian Defence and Security industry, with 6+ years of experience in Canadian Defence procurement.
• In-depth knowledge of military operations and/or technology through military service in Canada or an allied country, or through related industry experience.
• Excellent business acumen, strategic mindset, and proven networking skills within the Canadian defence industry, DND, PSPC, and ISED.
• Ability to hold a NATO SECRET Security Clearance & Controlled Goods Clearance.
• Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or with a valid Work Permit.
• English: B2+ required. Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
