Location: Sunnyvale, California or London. This is a hybrid role that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home.

What you will do

• Design and deliver validation scenarios to assess driving safety and overall system performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Data, Simulation, and Autonomy leads to design and implement comprehensive yet efficient test strategies.
• Help grow and inspire a high-performing team of validation systems engineers.

Requirements

• Strong systems thinker who works seamlessly across functions.
• Clear, concise communicator with excellent documentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in evidence-based decision-making.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and validating complex engineered systems through simulated scenario development or real-world testing.

Nice to have

• Background in ML, Computer Vision, Motion Planning, or Data Science.
• Experience in the Automotive or AV industries.
• Experience with SOTIF and safety validation.
• Skilled in evaluating and validating learned or adaptive behaviors.
