TL;DR

Director Of Product Design: Shaping the experience of Visier's platform and leading cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. Focus on mentoring designers, driving UX strategy, and ensuring intuitive user experiences that align with business objectives.

Location: Must be in office 3 days a week in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: $150,000-$200,000 CAD/year + bonus + equity

What you will do

• Lead the definition and execution of UX vision and strategy, working with product management, development, and design teams.
• Champion a user-centric design culture and oversee user research and testing.
• Guide the development and evolution of design systems and practices.
• Mentor and manage a diverse team of designers, setting goals and monitoring performance.
• Drive end-to-end design for core products and projects.
• Translate complex workflows into intuitive, human-centered experiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of UX or product design experience for complex software applications.
• 3-5+ years in a formal leadership role managing product design or UX teams.
• Experience planning and conducting user research and usability tests.
• Expert-level knowledge of design systems.
• Experience using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as HCI, Interaction Design, or Computer Science.
• Experience with SaaS products used by large enterprises and/or in Business Intelligence, Analytics, ETL, or Data Visualization domains.
