Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: 20,000 PLN minimum monthly

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through to production, ensuring performance, reliability, and business outcomes.
• Act as a hands-on engineer, writing high-quality code and setting a world-class example for the team.
• Coach and develop team members to become independent, self-sufficient engineers.
• Drive technical excellence by setting and enforcing high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of technical delivery and informal leadership.
• Deep expertise in a core technology stack (e.g., Java, React/React Native, TypeScript, Cloud).
• Battle-tested experience building and operating production systems, including willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
• Experience with and an AI-positive mindset towards AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong commitment to engineering excellence: TDD, pairing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Strong English-language communication skills and the ability to work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to work hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Kraków, Poland.

• Familiarity with financial services or trading platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
