What you will do
- Lead end-to-end feature delivery, taking accountability for performance, reliability, and business outcomes.
- Stay hands-on with code, demonstrating high-quality engineering practices.
- Coach and develop team members to become independent and self-sufficient engineers.
- Drive technical excellence and raise the bar across the team, enforcing high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
- Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong track record of technical delivery and informal leadership.
- Deep expertise in core technology stack (e.g., Java, React/React Native, TypeScript, Cloud).
- Battle-tested experience building and operating production systems, including on-call rotation participation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools is expected, with an AI-positive mindset.
- Strong English-language communication skills and ability to work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Hybrid position: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote in Kraków, Poland.
