Technical Team Lead (Fintech, AI): Leading a high-performing engineering team to deliver business-critical features and drive technical direction for 's customer lifecycle platform, with an accent on hands-on technical excellence, coaching, and ensuring system reliability. Focus on leveraging AI-assisted development tools, raising engineering standards, and optimizing customer onboarding and engagement experiences.
Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary: 20,000 PLN minimum monthly

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through to production, ensuring performance, reliability, and business outcomes.
- Act as a hands-on engineer, writing high-quality code and setting a world-class example for the team.
- Coach and develop team members to become independent, self-sufficient engineers.
- Drive technical excellence by setting and enforcing high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
- Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of technical delivery and informal leadership.
- Deep expertise in a core technology stack (e.g., Java, React/React Native, TypeScript, Cloud).
- Battle-tested experience building and operating production systems, including willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
- Experience with and an AI-positive mindset towards AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong commitment to engineering excellence: TDD, pairing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Strong English-language communication skills and the ability to work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to work hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Kraków, Poland.

- Familiarity with financial services or trading platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
