Analog Engineer Intern (Analog IC Design)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; full-time, onsite role.

Expected base pay: CAD 36–48 per hour.

What you will do

• Understand product requirements and define how an analog block fits into the product.
• Own an analog block delivered into a DSP transceiver.
• Evaluate tradeoffs between different circuit topologies.
• Perform schematic capture and layout in the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
• Run schematic-level and post-layout simulations to quantify and optimize circuit performance.
• Document designs, present design reviews, and design, simulate, and support analog IP verification.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD or MS degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong fundamental circuit design knowledge, including detailed transistor-level design, device physics, and feedback and loop stability analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Applicants must be eligible to access technology and software subject to U.S. export control laws; applicants who are not U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals may be subject to an export license review before employment.
