TL;DR

Forward Deployed Architect (AI): Designing and delivering AI-driven business transformation projects by translating customer needs into architectural solutions and leading technical implementation. Focus on architecting scalable, agent-based AI solutions, integrating systems, and optimizing AI agent performance.

Location: Hybrid, Austin, Texas, United States (3 days in office required). Willingness to travel up to 30% for on-site discovery, deployment, and customer engagement is required.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design and delivery of AI-driven business transformation projects.
• Scope technical integration strategies and translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
• Drive execution, including hands-on coding for proofs-of-concept, custom integrations, and prototypes.
• Design and deploy intelligent AI solutions leveraging snap-ins, connectors, workflows, and AI agents on the hirify.global platform.
• Integrate AI agents with external platforms like CRMs, APIs, and databases for seamless workflow automation.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on AI agent architecture, performance, and long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting coupled with customer-facing experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
• Applied AI knowledge including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evals.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, observability).
• System integration via APIs, webhooks, and event/data pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in AI/architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe).
