Forward Deployed Architect (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; willingness to travel up to 50% for on-site customer discovery, deployment, and engagement

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of AI-driven business transformation projects.
• Work with pre-sales teams to scope integrations and translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Build proofs of concept, custom integrations, solution prototypes, AI agents, workflows, and connectors.
• Integrate AI agents with CRMs, APIs, databases, and other external enterprise systems.
• Lead project execution, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely deployment.
• Partner with customers through discovery, live demonstrations, iteration, and technical advisory engagements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting with customer-facing experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and evaluation of agentic AI solutions.
• Experience designing scalable enterprise architectures with security, scalability, and identity management considerations.
• Hands-on enterprise-scale experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containers, and observability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced degrees or certifications in AI or architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe.
