Senior Field Engineer (Pre-Sales/Forward Deployed)

Location: USA (Houston) or remote within the USA. Travel of up to 50% may be required.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives as the technical lead for complex strategic engagements.
• Move clients from strategy to live solutions through rapid AI prototyping with hirify.global Atlas AI and hirify.global Data Fusion.
• Design and implement industrial AI agents grounded in an Industrial Knowledge Graph.
• Lead use case workshops, technical briefings, client demos, and reference architecture development.
• Translate field deployment learnings into product requirements and scalable engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in forward-deployed engineering or pre-sales engineering, ideally in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or industrial software.
• Strong engineering background in areas such as computer science, mathematics, software engineering, physics, or machine learning.
• Strong Python skills and deep understanding of generative AI, including embeddings, RAG, and prompt chaining.
• Ability to design scalable architectures that integrate IT, OT, and ET data with customer systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical presentation skills.
• Ability and interest to travel up to 50% to work on site with customers when needed.

Nice to have

• Education or experience in industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or control systems engineering.
• Previous customer-facing or sales experience.
• Experience working with complex, low-quality, real-world industrial data.
• Experience in energy, oil and gas, chemicals, life sciences, or discrete industries.
