TL;DR

Director - Business Development (Fintech): Acquiring new clients in North America and generating incremental revenues with an accent on understanding client business, negotiating value, and achieving financial targets. Focus on proactively hunting opportunities, building relationships with key players in banks, and closing deals.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in office) in San Francisco or New York City

Salary: $148,000–$220,000 a year

What you will do

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset across hirify.global’s market leading propositions like banking, financial services, cards, e-commerce, or payments.
  • Identify, secure, and manage relationships with clients across Americas, negotiating hirify.global's value proposition.
  • Consistently outperform financial targets and generate sales leads.
  • Generate revenue from clients and achieve pre-agreed targets on customer flows, revenues, and profitability.
  • Demonstrate business development and consultative selling skills to meet/exceed assigned goals.
  • Proactively hunt for marketplace opportunities through direct contact and partners, building relationships with key players in banks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years proven track record in business development or sales in Payments, E-Commerce, Cards, Financial Services, FinTech or Banking Go-to-Market in North America.
  • Strong track record of outperforming commercial targets in past sales roles.
  • Ability to independently source deals in regional banks to create a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Commercially focused and pragmatic, able to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Ability to understand and tailor approach to individual customers with empathy.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, results-oriented, and client-focused.
