TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (American Football): Generating pipeline, qualifying leads, and selling hirify.global products with an accent on opening new doors and landing new logos with FCS and FBS teams. Focus on establishing new relationships and maximizing deal value by partnering directly with an Account Executive.

Location: Hybrid in Lincoln, NE (requires three days in office per week). Only candidates within commuting distance of Lincoln, NE will be considered.

Salary: $34,000 - $57,000 USD (Base Salary Range), $49,000 - $82,000 USD (On-Target Earnings)

What you will do

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting and cold calling a variety of buyer personas, and route inbound leads to Account Executives.
  • Partner with Account Executives to negotiate deals, maximize total revenue and profitability.
  • Demonstrate product features to prospective customers and provide resources to improve usage and knowledge.
  • Build a Territory Success Plan to surpass sales goals and analyze prospecting/nurturing processes for improvement.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of any Intern SDRs.

Requirements

  • Possess essential sales skills including negotiation, prospecting, closing, and objection handling.
  • Detail-oriented for data mining, generating target lists, and maintaining an accurate Salesforce pipeline.
  • A constant learner, willing to understand different markets and sales strategies.
  • Organized and professional in all communications (email, Slack).
  • Must live within commuting distance of Lincoln, NE, and be able to work three days per week in the headquarters.

Nice to have

  • Sales Challenger certification (or willingness to obtain within six months).
  • Familiarity with a full sales stack, including software like Salesforce, hirify.global Admin, and Outreach.
  • Previous work experience and a degree.
  • Collegiate football background or knowledge of elite football front and back offices.
  • Passion for building a book of business and relationships in this space.
