Senior Director - Colocation and Connectivity Services (Fintech): Responsible for CME Colocation and Connectivity products and services, maintaining existing products and supporting the development and implementation of new products and services with an accent on proper operation of CME colocation and connectivity business. Focus on facility and networks are providing fair and equal access to our market participants.

Location: Based at either our New York City or Chicago locations

Salary: Chicago: $156,200-$260,400 New York/New Jersey: $171,800-$286,400

What you will do

• Maintain existing products and support the development and implementation of new products and services.
• Ensure that our facility and networks are providing fair and equal access to our market participants.
• Analyze data, forecast customer and service demands, and make recommendations.
• Respond to day-to-day product requests and questions.
• Collaborate with Data Center Engineering, Network Solutions Group, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Implementation, Sales, Procurement and senior management.
• Involved with colocation and networking decisions as the new facility comes on line.

Requirements

• Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree.
• 10 Years of experience dealing with financial markets and customers, experience with data center and IP based communication systems either as a provider, product developer, or purchaser of these services.
• Candidates are required to be proficient in analyzing, forecasting, documenting, presenting and gaining approval for products and projects.
• The candidate will be required to use software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Workday, Jira, Smartsheets, Python and AI tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data center and or networking issues into terms laypeople can understand and make informed decisions.

Nice to have

• Deeper understanding of financial markets/customers and or data center operations / engineering, and or low latency networking is a plus.
