Salary: $183,000 - $223,000 (New York based hires)

What you will do

• Drive technical discussions and implementations to generate new business and expand existing business.
• Advise customers on technical best practices, implementation of hirify.global products, and strategic guidance on internet security and performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams.
• Find best-fit solutions for prospects and train new customers via video-conference or in person.
• Develop new firewall rules from log files and craft performance caching and delivery strategies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go).
• Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL / TLS.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE related concepts.
• 12 years plus of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
• Technical curiosity and passion to stay up to date with industry trends and hirify.global's products.
• Focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth within the team and company.

Nice to have

• Experience building or contributing to web applications.
• Understanding of firewalls and the differences between L3, L4, and L7 firewalls.
• Familiarity with command-line interfaces, RESTful APIs, or analyzing HTTP requests and responses.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such a PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
