Senior Staff Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Staff Engineer: Contributing to the performance and reliability of hirify.global’s products by developing software, crafting test plans, and enabling customer platforms with an accent on high-speed IO interfaces such as Ethernet and PCIe. Focus on validating PCIe/Ethernet features on new SoCs, designing software and firmware solutions for interface validation, and automating test flows for DUT and lab equipment.

Salary: 136,400 - 201,800 USD per annum

What you will do

• Integrate and support PCIe/Ethernet firmware within hirify.global's SDK.
• Debug IO interfaces using diagnostic tools.
• Develop and execute validation test plans based on specifications and customer requirements.
• Validate PCIe/Ethernet features on new SoCs.
• Automate test flows for DUT and lab equipment.
• Address and resolve customer-reported issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in high-speed IO testing, debugging, and validation.
• Understanding of computer architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in lab skills across system bring-up, testing, debugging, and network testing.
• Experience with programming in C/C++. Python scripting is a plus.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of high-speed SERDES, equalization techniques, and PCIe protocols. Compute Express Link (CXL) knowledge is a plus.
• Exposure to Linux Kernel Builds.
