What you will do

• Serve as primary liaison to policy and regulatory stakeholders across Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.
• Develop and execute market-specific policy and regulatory engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and government officials.
• Represent hirify.global in regional policy, legislative, and regulatory discussions.
• Draft and coordinate responses to regulatory consultations and legislative reforms.
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments across the APAC region.

Requirements

• Significant experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, government relations, or financial crime within financial services or digital assets.
• Direct experience engaging with financial regulators and government stakeholders in APAC, particularly in Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and/or Japan.
• Strong understanding of AML/CTF, financial crime, cybercrime, or regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated understanding of and interest in digital assets and their regulatory implications.
• Proven ability to establish credibility, trust, and confidence with senior government officials and regulators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for policy papers and briefings.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in public policy, international affairs, law, economics, or a related field.
• Professional experience related to digital asset regulation, public policy, financial crimes, or traditional financial services.
• Prior experience working at or closely with regulators such as MAS, AUSTRAC, FSC/FSS, or JFSA.
• Experience supporting regulatory strategy across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
