Legal and Compliance Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, Malaysia (On-site)

What you will do

• Lead stakeholder management and coordinate end-to-end investor onboarding, including AML/KYC execution.
• Execute periodic licensing and regulatory reporting for MAS and ASIC.
• Design, implement, and streamline operational workflows for fund launches and investment transactions.
• Maintain corporate governance records and manage filings with ACRA and other regulatory bodies.
• Act as the primary custodian of portfolio company records and track post-investment compliance.
• Support transactional execution by coordinating document management and ensuring audit trails.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Asset Management, Law, Corporate Secretarial, Compliance, or Start-up Operations.
• Must be based in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, Malaysia for on-site work.
• Proven expertise in operational administration and process automation tools.
• Strong verbal and written English proficiency required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.
