What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of backend APIs and distributed services that power high-quality UI experiences, delivering trust, transparency, scalability, and performance to our partners.
• Drive the architecture of core services supporting campaign management and optimization across hirify.global’s advertising network, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and raising the bar on reliability and operational excellence.
• Lead the application of LLMs and generative AI to streamline advertiser workflows, enhance campaign setup experiences, and automate repetitive operational tasks at scale.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate personalized recommendations, smart defaults, and AI-assisted decision support.
• Define and uphold engineering standards for code quality, AI systems, automated testing, and observability.
• Mentor and develop engineers across levels, providing technical guidance, code review leadership, and design feedback to consistently raise the team’s technical bar.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or 6+ year for Master's in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
• Experience driving the end-to-end technical design of multiple complex, multi-quarter projects.
• Experience developing features in full-stack technologies – Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, React, GraphQL or similar technologies, API development.
• Experience collaborating with business partners to identify problems and deliver technical solutions that meet their needs.

• Experience formally mentoring and developing other engineers.
• Experience justifying and communicating technology choices to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong understanding of testing and monitoring, with experience establishing operational excellence metrics at the team level.
