Salary: $196,000 — $227,000 USD

What you will do

• Architect and build technology for serving marketing content across web frontends, GraphQL API gateways, and storage layers.
• Develop a no-code/low-code platform for authoring, segmenting, and planning lifecycle communications.
• Optimize user experience and page performance by improving rendering and backend data fetching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (PMs, designers, marketing) to deliver revenue-driving products.
• Lead technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must reside in a US state where Airbnb has a registered entity.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, setting strategy, and mentoring engineers.
• Comfort working in a fullstack environment (both frontend and backend).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI in production applications.
