TL;DR
Product Designer: Driving collaborative design activities and delivering innovative solutions for complex database management challenges across the DevOps lifecycle, making the data complexities of DevOps Ingeniously Simple. Focus on refining and improving the usability, usage and engagement of existing solutions through frequent rounds of user testing, measurement and data analysis.
Location: Redgate has adopted a flexible-hybrid model which requires a weekly visit to the office to support collaborative culture, as well as other ad-hoc collaborative activities as required by the business.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 negotiable dependent on experience.

What you will do
- Supporting the tactical needs of the team from prototyping to production and testing; crafting workflows, interfaces, and interactions to deliver working solutions.
- Facilitating collaborative design activities to routinely engage users and the wider team in the process of exploring, shaping, and refining solutions.
- Use research and insight (qualitative and quantitative) to inform/influence the solution and any associated design decisions.
- Working with the development team to ensure a design/experiential perspective is factored into delivery and taking ownership of associated design decisions.
- Following, contributing towards, and helping to maintain a shared design system.
- Refining and improving the usability, usage, and engagement of existing solutions through frequent rounds of user testing, measurement, and data analysis.
Requirements
- Experience working in complex domains in the SaaS B2B space.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a user-centered design process.
- Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams where you’ve collaborated with PMs, Engineers, and other Product Designers.
- A solid understanding of evaluative research methods (qualitative and quantitative) required to identify, evaluate, and improve the user experience.
- Experience with UI design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate your ideas, concepts, and design decisions.
