Staff Product Designer (Travel)

Staff Product Designer (Travel/SaaS): Designing and optimizing the end-to-end Flights experience for a travel and spend management platform with an accent on complex multi-step product flows and AI-driven prototyping. Location: Hybrid (London or Barcelona). Must be based within commuting distance of the hubs.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end Flights experience and shape the product roadmap.
• Lead strategic conversations with leadership and the cross-functional triad to define direction and scope.
• Partner with PMs and engineering from the early stages of scope-setting through to execution.
• Conduct user research and synthesize insights into intuitive experiences that reduce complexity for users.
• Use modern AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and Bolt for rapid prototyping and interaction exploration.
• Mentor the design team through crit culture and establishing scalable design patterns.

Requirements

• Staff-level IC track record with a history of owning products at scale.
• Expertise in designing complex, multi-step product flows.
• Fluency in qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools and design environments like Figma and Git.
• Must be based within commuting distance of London or Barcelona hubs.
