Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; San Francisco. Salary and office requirements vary by location.

Salary: $175,000–$240,000 for Tier 1 cities; $160,000–$215,000 for Tier 2 cities; $150,000–$205,000 for all other cities. Equity included for full-time employees.

What you will do

• Own frontend projects from design through launch across established and new products.
• Build fast, accessible user interfaces and improve frontend performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and ship product solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions and balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
• Maintain strong engineering practices through code review, test coverage, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software at scale.
• Deep JavaScript experience with a modern frontend framework.
• Experience improving frontend performance and accessibility.
• Product-minded approach and comfort working with ambiguous problems and rapid change.
• Work location and office requirements depend on the employee's location within the United States.

Nice to have

• AI or LLM product experience.
• Startup experience.
