Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; on-site

Salary: $165,000–$183,000 including base compensation and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Refine and communicate the product vision and roadmap for OG Assist using customer research, competitive context, and business goals.
• Conduct customer discovery and translate findings into clear product decisions and priorities.
• Design, architect, implement, test, and deploy production features as a primary codebase contributor.
• Define user experience flows within the design system and implement the resulting experiences.
• Set technical direction, make build-versus-buy decisions, and resolve development trade-offs.
• Track adoption, usage, and business outcomes while representing the product in customer conversations, QBRs, and cross-functional reviews.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience spanning product ownership and hands-on software engineering.
• Track record of shipping production code in a SaaS environment.
• Strong engineering fundamentals across design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to learn the specific OG Assist stack.
• Experience owning projects end to end, providing technical direction, and communicating decisions clearly.
• Experience defining UX flows, working within a design system, and implementing the experiences you design.

Nice to have

• Production experience building with or on top of LLMs or AI agents.
• Experience representing products in customer-facing forums such as discovery sessions and executive reviews.
• Ability to identify gaps in AI tooling, AI harnesses, and platform capabilities.
