Full-Stack Product Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $200K–$300K plus equity

hirify.global is recruiting for a client seeking a product-focused full-stack engineer with expertise in LLMs and agents.

What you will do

• Build a product that helps engineers understand why production agents fail and whether fixes are effective.
• Own the full product lifecycle, from customer conversations and problem identification through product design, implementation, shipping, and iteration.
• Develop systems across the data layer, backend, and user interface.
• Observe agent behavior and use production feedback to improve the product.
• Interact directly with customers, with approximately 30% of the role being customer-facing.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of full-stack engineering experience and strong production engineering skills.
• Hands-on LLM or agent experience, or demonstrable ability to ramp up quickly in this area.
• Experience owning systems from the data layer through backend and UI.
• Strong technical problem-solving, product judgment, communication, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to define what to build without waiting for detailed specifications.
• Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate and work in the office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Agent evaluations, observability, or agent behavior monitoring experience.
• FDE or solutions engineering experience with strong coding ability.
• Founder, early-startup, research, AI product, or coding competition background.
• Strong infrastructure or backend experience.
