TL;DR

Business Development Representative (AI): Driving revenue and developing pipeline for enterprise AI/search solutions with an accent on qualifying high-value opportunities and closing small to mid-sized accounts. Focus on executing targeted outbound campaigns, developing vertical-specific messaging, and maintaining sales operations excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, New York City). Must be based in the U.S.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000

What you will do

  • Balance direct revenue generation and pipeline development for the sales team.
  • Qualify enterprise prospects using BANT criteria and own small to mid-sized accounts.
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns and develop vertical-specific messaging.
  • Represent the hirify.global brand through social selling.
  • Maintain data hygiene in Salesforce and build outbound sequences.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, adapting tone and technical depth for various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of at least one key industry (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Legal, Consulting).
  • Proven ability to qualify prospects using BANT methodology while maintaining sales velocity.
  • Comfort discussing enterprise software, APIs, and AI capabilities at a high level.
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Data-driven approach to tracking conversion rates and pipeline metrics.

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years in SaaS sales development or business development roles.
  • Experience selling to technical and non-technical buyers.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI/ML solutions or search technologies.
  • Experience at a high-growth technology startup.
