Business Development Representative (Software)

TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Software): Generating pipeline and revenue opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and outbound campaign contacts for statistical analysis software. Focus on identifying business needs, building relationships with future buyers, and achieving monthly/quarterly performance goals.

Location: This is an onsite position located at our headquarters in State College, PA. Remote work is not an option. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship.

Salary: $40,000 annually base salary with eligible $20,000/year commission plan.

What you will do

• Engage with leads to assess needs and interest in hirify.global solutions.
• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and marketing campaigns.
• Qualify prospects for the sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture relationships with future buyers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and prospect information.

Requirements

• Associate degree (college/technical) or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to pursue a career in sales, with a willingness to learn and be coached.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
• Previous customer-facing experience (retail, service, hospitality, internships).
• Prior BDR or phone-based outreach experience.
