TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Fintech): Promoting the Wealth Platform proposition to meet retirement planning and income needs for UK intermediary customers with an accent on relationship management and market share growth. Focus on formulating business plans, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating sales activities across the South West.

Location: Must be based in Wales or Bristol (and surrounding areas)

What you will do

  • Manage and develop relationships with new and existing intermediaries across Cardiff, Bristol, and the South West.
  • Drive sales and retention targets for the Wealth Platform and multi-asset fund ranges.
  • Formulate and implement strategic business plans based on deep analysis of account strengths and goals.
  • Coordinate with multi-channel propositions to identify and refer Workplace or Protection opportunities.
  • Optimize regional business opportunities by leveraging Scottish Widows Specialist resources.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in financial services required, specifically with investment platforms.
  • Strong business development and relationship skills within an intermediated environment.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for face-to-face, telephone, and virtual engagement.
  • Ability to lead pitch teams and present tailored solutions to clients.
  • Deep understanding of the UK Intermediary market, including regulatory and legislative changes.

  • Achievement of CII/PFS Level 4 Qualification.
