Sales Development Representative (Fintech)

TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Fintech): Sourcing and qualifying new sales opportunities to build sales pipelines with an accent on consultative selling and outbound outreach campaigns. Focus on researching companies, leveraging BANT criteria, and maintaining accurate CRM data.

Location: Must be based in Ontario and within the Greater Toronto Area. Expectation of at least three days per week in Toronto office space.

Salary: CA$90K–CA$100K

What you will do

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach.
• Qualify prospects through consultative selling while leveraging BANT criteria.
• Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns.
• Research companies and add prospects to our outbound list.
• Maintain accurate client relationship data within Salesforce.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ontario and within the Greater Toronto Area.
• Expectation of at least three days per week in Toronto office space.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills and energetic phone presence.
• High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes.
• Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with customer-facing and/or sales roles.
• Prior CRM experience (preferably Salesforce).
• Experience with financial services sales.
• Experience at a high-growth startup.
