What you will do

• Ideate, brainstorm, and build impressive financial features with the development team and product managers.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and web applications for maximum robustness, scalability, and security.
• Test all new features and enhancements, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and document your code.
• Help protect user data, confidentiality, and integrity by creating security and data protection settings.
• Contribute to building CI/CD, monitoring, and testing practices with the team.
• Develop skills and learn from other areas of expertise within the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend or FullStack engineer using Javascript/Typescript + Node.JS.
• Experience scaling distributed systems with large data volumes.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture design patterns and coding best practices.
• Ability to take responsibility, ownership, and create impact while advocating a quality culture.
• Comfortable with testing environments and passionate about high quality.
• Working proficiency in English & fluent in Spanish.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NodeJS, React, Redux, Storybook, Express, Cypress, Jest, MongoDB, Python, GCP, Gitlab CI/CD.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of tracking test coverage tools and quality monitoring.
• Previous experience in the financial industry or fintechs.
