What you will do

• Build and own features for automated expense reconciliation, including employee reimbursements, expense capture, ERP integrations, and supplier invoicing.
• Work across the full stack to deliver accurate, effortless accounting experiences that eliminate manual finance effort.
• Design scalable, evolvable systems and data models with attention to performance, failure isolation, and long-term maintenance.
• Improve engineering excellence through CI/CD optimizations, testing strategies, coding standards, and proactive technical debt management.
• Lead operational maturity by defining SLOs, supporting incident response, and running blameless post-mortems.
• Collaborate across finance, compliance, and multiple engineering teams to resolve technical blockers and align on delivery.

Requirements

• Be based within commuting distance of hirify.global hubs (hybrid, 3 days a week in-person).
• Strong backend engineering experience with API design/versioning, caching strategies, and complex data migration.
• Experience defining and upholding technical standards across the stack, including CI/CD and testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with observability/SRE practices (SLOs, incident response, post-mortems).
• Operational security experience, including secrets hygiene and dependency risk management.
• English proficiency required for office work; submit the resume in English.
