Sales Engineer (SASE): Driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and providing technical validation of solutions with an accent on building relationships, explaining technology, and product positioning to both business and technical users. Focus on presenting the product to customers, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Location: Bay Area, must be based in the US
Salary: $230,000 - $250,000

What you will do
- Provide technical validation of solutions to prospects.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
- Present the product to customers and at field events.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role.
- Proven track record in software sales.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking technology, including LAN and WAN technologies, Switching and routing, Security (Firewalls and Filtering technologies), and Cloud.
- Strong presentation skills and written communication in emails, RFPs, and reports.
- Organized, analytical, creative and adaptive in approach and finding solutions.
