What you will do

• Lead the engineering strategy and oversee backend, frontend, data, and DevOps teams.
• Drive architectural decisions for highly scalable, globally distributed gaming systems.
• Build and mentor engineering leadership to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate vision into robust, high-performance technical solutions.
• Optimize delivery processes while maintaining high standards for code quality and operational reliability.
• Manage technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives and player needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience scaling engineering organizations of 20+ members across multiple teams.
• Deep technical expertise in backend services architecture (Scala, microservices) and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of game development environments (Unity) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Expertise in large-scale data systems and real-time processing (Kafka, BigQuery).
• Must be able to work on-site in the Kraków headquarters.
