What you will do
- Work with senior team members to balance business and user needs.
- Thrive in detail-oriented design tasks.
- Support the team in defining future product direction.
- Apply design process facets including research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Product or User Experience Designer for complex digital products across mobile and web.
- Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving, design principles, and visual/UI design.
- Deep understanding of the design thinking process.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user journeys.
- Familiarity with building, maintaining, publishing, and documenting component libraries and design systems.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Comfort using AI tools in the design process.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Based in NYC and able to participate in our hybrid in-office culture.
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial services or fintech.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Confluence, Jira, Github, and Agile methodologies.
