TL;DR

Strategic Account Executive (Financial Services): Responsible for breaking into new "Tier 1" financial institutions and expanding opportunities within existing marquee accounts with an accent on full-cycle sales, strategic account planning, and vertical expertise in FinTech. Focus on building multi-threaded relationships, customizing solutions for rigorous security and compliance, and maintaining accurate revenue forecasts.

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 USD (Base pay, plus sales commissions)

What you will do

  • Own the entire sales process from initial prospecting and discovery to contract negotiation and closing for new logos.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for existing clients to drive upsell and cross-sell revenue.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on FinTech trends, regulatory changes, and digital transformation needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple business units and levels within financial institutions.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering and Product teams to customize solutions that meet industry standards.
  • Maintain a high level of CRM hygiene and provide accurate quarterly revenue forecasts.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales, specifically selling into the Financial Services sector (Banking, FinTech, Insurance, or Capital Markets).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas and closing six-figure or seven-figure deals.
  • Proficiency in a structured sales framework (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler).
  • Ability to speak the language of Finance, understanding P&L impact, ROI modeling, and the regulatory landscape (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (approx. 25%).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
