TL;DR

Senior Sales Account Executive (Capital Markets): Driving revenue through cultivating industry relationships and selling advanced data, analytics, and technology solutions to mortgage lenders and servicers with an accent on identifying data-driven opportunities and actively shaping the firm's capital markets roadmap. Focus on building institutional relationships, providing strategic market insights, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.

Location: Remote (US). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets.

Salary: $100,000–$170,000

What you will do

  • Build and maintain deep institutional relationships within the mortgage and capital markets sectors.
  • Present and position data-driven products, analytics platforms, and risk management tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing real-time industry perspectives to the product team.
  • Use data and analytics tools to identify data-backed opportunities for clients.
  • Provide input to the capital markets strategic plan based on client feedback and competitive analysis.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract execution and onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in mortgage capital markets data and analytics (buy-side, sell-side, or vendor).
  • Financial modeling and valuation skills using SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with prevalent mortgage trading and modeling platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Intex, Yieldbook).
  • Expertise with mortgage and MBS market data, both public and vended.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce to manage institutional pipelines.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills.

  • Advanced certifications like MBA, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager).
