Marketing Operations Specialist (AI): Managing and optimising marketing processes and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the marketing function with an accent on the architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of the marketing automation ecosystem. Focus on establishing data quality, analysing multi-channel performance data, and implementing AI agents and LLM capabilities to streamline operations.

Location: Hybrid, working from offices in London (UK) or Ghent (Belgium), with other office locations in the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

What you will do

  • Lead the architecture and optimisation of the marketing automation ecosystem, integrating CRM, analytics, and revenue platforms.
  • Design and govern complex marketing workflows to enhance operational scalability and campaign precision.
  • Establish and uphold rigorous data quality and governance standards for the marketing database.
  • Partner cross-functionally to operationalise campaigns, orchestrate lead processes, and enable personalised lifecycle engagement.
  • Analyse multi-channel performance data to diagnose inefficiencies and drive strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and interpret experimentation frameworks (A/B and multivariate testing) to optimise conversion paths.
  • Advocate for and implement AI agents and LLM capabilities within workflows, processes, and systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing operations or marketing automation.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting within Salesforce, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic email and landing page template editing.
  • Relevant certifications in marketing automation or operations.
