What you will do
- Assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations.
- Collaborate with VAST R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability, including creating product specification documents.
- Participate in creating sales strategies and tactics, taking ownership of technical responsibilities within customer accounts.
- Demonstrate technical leadership and expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, and file systems.
- Create architecture blueprints for repeatable solutions for the Sales team to deliver to customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage sales to large IT organizations.
- Possess positive energy, optimism, and vision.
- Ability to perform in an unstructured environment.
- Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks.
- Experience in preparing and delivering technical product and architecture presentations.
- Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking, and enterprise security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
