Location: Fully remote, may require up to 10% travel based on business needs.

Salary: €85,000 - €105,000 EUR per year

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure engineers.
• Anticipate, plan, and execute infrastructure projects aligned with company and customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation.
• Support company initiatives around cost optimization, security, disaster recovery, and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Experience providing technical leadership or mentorship.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
• Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life - or an eagerness to learn!

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Background in Python, Go, Java, or equivalent for automation and tooling.
• Knowledge of security best practices, networking fundamentals, and incident management.
