Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead (Devops)

Salary: $150,000-$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers.
• Anticipate, plan, and execute infrastructure projects aligned with company and customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation.
• Support company initiatives around cost optimization, security, disaster recovery, and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend or infrastructure engineering roles.
• 2+ years managing or mentoring engineers.
• Strong project management skills.
• English: required for collaboration with US-based leadership
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Background in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling.
• Knowledge of security best practices, networking fundamentals, and incident management.
