Location: Onsite in London, UK with required in-region travel (15-30 days per quarter) to customer offices and events.

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients from early-stage ideation through to production planning.
• Provide technical and industry advocacy, offering good practice guidance and a deploy-to-production mindset.
• Contribute to a body-of-knowledge across key domains of networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing.
• Work with large public and private sector clients, developing deep understanding and partnerships.
• Manage technical validation projects to help customers make informed solution decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry (mid-level or senior engineering).
• Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing demands.
• Demonstrate empathy with customers and quickly identify challenges and pain points.
• Good fundamental understanding of how the internet works, including TCP/UDP, authoritative/recursive DNS, firewalls, TLS, and HTTP.
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape for one or more of: DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform, or Zero-Trust/SASE service providers.
• Work from London, UK with willingness for in-region travel (15-30 days per quarter).
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a pre-sales SE or consulting role.
• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Exposure to emerging technical landscape trends such as machine learning, GenAI, DevOps, security operations.
• Previously held Security Clearance (SC) status.
