What you will do

• Build and maintain private cloud products and services in your specialist area (compute, storage, networking).
• Lead technical conversations with stakeholders, including senior management and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate across internal, external, and third-party teams.
• Drive best-in-class automation and security approaches.
• Provide education and mentorship on infrastructure engineering to support upskilling.
• Act as SME in infrastructure engineering while expanding knowledge across the hybrid cloud platform.

Requirements

• Expertise in hybrid cloud environment with VMware (ARIA suite or VCF), automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Git), DevOps principles, and networking (DHCP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing).
• Experience developing, supporting, and managing enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Designing or contributing to solutions for private cloud environments, defect management, performance optimisation, security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and Agile ways of working.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• Databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Operating systems (Windows & Linux).
