What you will do
- Take a very hands on approach to management and team efficiency, including shadowing/running sales calls and driving enablement programming to continually upskill our sellers.
- Execute and iterate on sales process, forecasting, and programs to consistently exceed revenue targets by applying modern sales techniques to efficiently manage customer acquisition through to successful revenue generation.
- Utilize a data driven, facts-based approach to sales leadership.
- Use your creativity and tenacity to develop and improve how we most effectively drive revenue growth through close partnership with marketing, solutions, product marketing, and R&D teams.
- Responsible for building, hiring, training and retaining a top notch sales organization.
- Contribute directly to the success and growth of the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of successful software sales management experience.
- Experience selling in a consumption-based business model is a plus.
- Demonstrable track record of above target performance for the team, especially in a startup environment.
- Track record of enablement, performance management and coaching+mentoring process.
- Operational attention to detail and forecasting consistency.
- Understanding and use a specific sales methodology (we use MEDDPICC).
- Deep prospecting experience and methodology, including leveraging partners to drive pipeline.
