TL;DR

Buyer Development Senior Director (Sales): Growing commercial partnerships across the US independent agency ecosystem and within the political vertical with an accent on product adoption and building long-term relationships. Focus on driving revenue growth and representing the buyer perspective internally to influence product roadmap and go-to-market decisions.

Location: Hybrid. Must be open to working in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $178,000 - $215,000

What you will do

  • Own and lead relationships with independent agencies and political demand partners within the US market.
  • Design and execute a sales strategy to drive demand across independent agencies, establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships.
  • Drive revenue growth and increased adoption of Index’s buyer-facing products across agencies and buying teams.
  • Represent the buyer perspective internally, influencing Product roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
  • Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline, providing regular sales activity and revenue forecasts, and leveraging our CRM for maximum transparency and tracking.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital media with deep knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem (SSP, DSP, exchange, PMP, agency trading desk, ad server, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of the independent agency landscape, including operating models and buying structures.
  • Experience working with political demand partners.
  • Proven success in buyer-facing sales roles within ad tech or programmatic environments.
  • Confidence delivering technical explanations, education, and strategic recommendations to partners.
  • Must be open to working in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
