TL;DR

Buyer Development Senior Director (Political): Owning and leading commercial partnerships with political demand partners to drive revenue growth and product adoption within the programmatic advertising ecosystem. Location: Hybrid in New York, USA. Office attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $178,000 – $215,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own and lead relationships with political demand partners within the US market.
  • Design and execute an impactful sales strategy to drive demand, establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships.
  • Drive revenue growth and increased adoption of Index’s buyer-facing products across buying teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on SPO, marketplace quality, curation, and data activation.
  • Represent the buyer perspective internally, influencing product roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
  • Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline, providing regular sales activity and revenue forecasts, and leveraging CRM.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital media with deep knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem (SSP, DSP, exchange, PMP, agency trading desk, ad server).
  • Experience working with political demand partners with a solid understanding of operating models and buying structures.
  • A network boasting deep relationships and comfort navigating commercial models through strong agency and brand connections.
  • Proven success in buyer-facing sales roles within ad tech or programmatic environments.
  • Confidence delivering technical explanations, education, and strategic recommendations to partners.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the USA.
