TL;DR

ServiceNow Administrator/Developer (SME): Supporting IT service management strategy and system configuration for government operations with an accent on ITSM policy implementation, workflow design, and application development. Focus on configuring ServiceNow modules, building scoped applications, and providing technical expertise for high-security network environments.

Location: Must be based in or able to work in Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Salary: $155,000 - $165,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Guide ITSM strategy, planning, and service delivery to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Design and configure ServiceNow modules, forms, and service portals.
  • Administer ServiceNow applications, including security configurations and automated workflows.
  • Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and build scoped applications based on subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with remote teams and clients to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • US citizenship required to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the ServiceNow system architecture
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML, REST, and SOAP
  • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • ServiceNow Administrator or Developer Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
