What you will do
- Take end-to-end ownership of self-serve/PLG funnel for micro customers: acquisition, signup, onboarding, activation, paywall, expansion, retention.
- Map and refine post-signup journey to reduce time-to-first-value with sharp UX, smart defaults, and in-product guidance.
- Define 'when to human' rules using behavioral signals to route users to Sales/CS where ROI is highest.
- Lead dedicated PLG squad of 2-3 engineers, maintain prioritized roadmap of experiments, ensure robust analytics for KPIs like NRR and funnel drop-offs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, CS, RevOps to integrate PLG as company-wide revenue engine and inform pricing/messaging.
Requirements
- Commercial PM with proven PLG wins in B2B SaaS (e.g., improved trial-to-paid, NRR, activation speed).
- Strong UX instincts for onboarding/activation, comfortable designing flows, paywalls, upgrade nudges.
- Data- and experiment-driven: fluent in funnels, cohorts, A/B tests, product analytics, event tracking.
- Strategic yet hands-on, bias to action, thrive in high-ownership cross-functional environments.
- Ability to define PLG strategy/roadmap and lead small engineering team.
