What you will do
- Drive the technical win from discovery through POC for qualified inbound leads.
- Provide clear, actionable implementation plans and write code snippets/integration guides to accelerate customer time-to-value.
- Design up/downstream integrations into prospect systems with pragmatic solutions.
- Build relationships with technical founders, engineering leaders, product, and finance teams at AI companies.
- Understand unique monetization challenges for LLM and generative AI providers.
- Stay current on AI industry trends, pricing models, and competitive dynamics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles involving SaaS products (e.g., sales engineering, solutions architecture).
- 1+ years of experience working with, at, or selling to AI companies.
- Proven ability to independently own and drive customer-facing engagements and relationships.
- Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new systems and guide technical implementations.
- Experience working in high-velocity environments where speed-to-value matters.
- Excellent communication skills with technical buyers (engineers, product managers).
- Must be based in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago.
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of the quote-to-cash space, including integrating with tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, and CPQs.
- Experience as a software engineer, product manager, or in a pure sales role.
- Familiarity and enthusiasm for AI developer tooling and the broader AI infrastructure ecosystem.
