TL;DR

Sr Sales Account Manager (Automotive): Lead and grow Dolby's relationships with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the US with an accent on strategic account management, technology sales, and partnership development. Focus on driving executive-level engagements, creative selling strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to expand business and influence product development.

Location: Remote, must be based in Michigan, United States with travel throughout the US

Salary: $136,500 - $187,400 plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

  • Lead relationships with selected Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the US.
  • Identify and manage all engagement points between Dolby and accounts, driving closure and commitments.
  • Develop and execute creative selling strategies with persistence and agility.
  • Coordinate internal global teams to expand business relationships and create partner value.
  • Represent partner and market needs internally to influence product and licensing strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the Detroit area, with travel throughout the US
  • 7+ years of technology sales or business development experience, preferably in Automotive.
  • Proven success in developing relationships with key decision-makers to close large commercial deals.
  • Strong negotiation skills and executive presence with clear communication abilities.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Passion and understanding of automotive, car audio, digital media, consumer electronics, and related ecosystems.
