Senior Manager (Public Services): Leading the delivery of complex AI-enabled programs and portfolios for UK Government clients, including strategy, R&D, and product builds, with an accent on driving meaningful outcomes and fostering client relationships. Focus on overseeing project portfolios, advising on AI strategy and technical implementation, and mentoring team members within the public services sector.

Location: Hybrid (London). Must hold an active UK Security Clearance (SC) and have used it on a Government project in the previous 12 months. Expected to work from the office in London and on-site with customers from time to time.

What you will do

• Manage the delivery of multiple, complex programs for Public Services clients, encompassing strategy, R&D, and product builds.
• Oversee a portfolio of projects across various Public Services departments.
• Develop and own compelling proposals to grow the Public Sector portfolio.
• Mentor and develop team members, aligning their responsibilities with critical Public Services work.
• Work strategically to deliver meaningful outcomes for public sector organisations.
• Form strong, trusted relationships with senior government customers and collaborate with consulting partners.
• Advise clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, engaging confidently in technical discussions with directors.
• Support wider business efforts to ensure maximum strategic flexibility and commercial impact.

Requirements

• Experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in managing complex, large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience in the Public Services space, from Government, academia, or industry roles.
• Track record of shipping GDS-style digital products and delivering AI-enabled services in Government.
• Demonstrable interest and understanding of AI and ML concepts, with creative application for Public Sector challenges.
• Technical understanding to engage confidently with directors on engineering concepts and AI applications.
• Understanding of the commercial consulting delivery model for account growth and project oversight.
• Flexibility to support broader Senior Manager work and embrace an entrepreneurial approach to a highly visible portfolio.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous settings and demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects.
• Must hold an active UK Security Clearance (SC) and have used that clearance on a Government project in the previous 12 months.
