What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature delivery for Wallet, Billing & Taxes platform including API design, backend, and frontend changes.
• Build and maintain highly stable, scalable backend services using Node.js, MongoDB, and distributed systems.
• Identify and fix systemic issues to improve platform reliability and performance.
• Drive performance optimizations and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Reduce technical debt and improve test coverage.
• Implement security best practices and enhance observability with logs, metrics, and alerts.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Delhi, India.
• 4–7 years of backend engineering experience with scale and distributed systems.
• Expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Comfortable contributing to frontend using Vue.js or other modern UI frameworks.
• Experience shipping and supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• Strong English skills (B2 level or higher).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools and open-source contributions.
• Knowledge of NestJS or Express.js frameworks.
• Experience with Elastic Search and OLAP systems like ClickHouse, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
