Senior Golang Full Stack Engineer (FinOps)

Location: Poland; fully remote

What you will do

• Build accessible, tested React and TypeScript interfaces for cost dashboards, connector configuration, and platform administration.
• Design and maintain scalable Go microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Develop Python connectors and collectors for AWS, Azure, GCP, LLM providers, and SaaS vendors.
• Extend connector pipelines across credential management, execution, normalisation, persistence, and presentation.
• Normalise vendor cost and usage data to the FOCUS FinOps standard, including AI token- and credit-based billing data.
• Improve observability, reliability, performance, scalability, security, and deployment practices using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, ArgoCD, and feature flags.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including consulting, client-facing, or contract delivery.
• Recent production experience with React and TypeScript, plus commercial Go development of at least one year.
• Production Python experience, especially with API integrations, data collection, or backend services.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with OAuth or API keys, pagination, rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and partial-failure handling.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, SQL, data modelling, ORMs, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, testing, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to make technical decisions independently.

Nice to have

• FinOps, cloud cost management, cloud billing, usage analytics, or FOCUS standard experience.
• IT Asset Management, software licensing, or FlexNet Manager Suite knowledge.
• Experience with cloud billing APIs, LLM provider APIs, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Databricks, event-driven architectures, or messaging platforms.
• Experience with AWS production deployments, Kubernetes Jobs, ArgoCD, Helm, GitOps, feature flags, or workflow automation.
• Experience with observability, distributed tracing, internal developer tooling, AI-enabled engineering workflows, or SaaS products.
