Senior Full-Stack Developer (Vue.js/AI)

Location: Remote or onsite in Edwardsville, Granite City, or Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, or St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $106,400–$159,600 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy custom software applications and third-party systems supporting pre-sales, engineering, scoping, and quoting workflows.
• Use AI-powered development tools for coding, refactoring, documentation, analysis, and test generation while validating output for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead complex technical problem-solving, code reviews, solution design, and software quality initiatives.
• Implement unit, integration, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with developers, analysts, architects, product owners, and distributed teams.
• Support production issues, monitor recurring problems, maintain technical documentation, and participate in Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA degree in computer science or programming, or at least five years of related experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Vue.js or a comparable modern frontend framework, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with object-oriented development and data sources such as Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using AI tools for software development and the ability to critically assess and refine AI-generated outputs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; current or future visa sponsorship, including OPT, CPT, H1, and H4, is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with LLM-backed services, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, agentic integrations, or MCP-based integrations.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or a major cloud provider.
• Experience working with offshore and onsite teams.
