TL;DR

IT Program Manager / PMO Manager Program Controlling (Fintech): Independently managing and operationally driving Program Controlling dedicated working packages and/or workstreams for Top Strategic Digital Technology projects with an accent on digitization cross-regionally and cross-functionally. Focus on supporting the design and setup of the project governance to enable efficient decision-making, reporting and communication across all stakeholders.

Location: Essen, Hannover, München, Berlin, Würzburg, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main

What you will do

  • Preparing senior stakeholder communication, decision papers and Steering Committees, driving the direction for our programs via these decision makers.
  • Support the design and setup of the project governance to enable efficient decision-making, reporting and communication across all stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for Program Controlling activities including alignments with central Controlling (BuCo), root-cause analyses, forecast, P+L, etc.
  • Autonomously monitor and report the project risks and develop suitable countermeasures.
  • Operationally managing external partners, including on-shore and off-shore resources by using the appropriate frameworks and internal processes, incl. vendor ordering, time bookings approval, etc.
  • Engaging in our Expert Services practice; participating in various capability building activities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Controlling, Finance or a related field.
  • Several years of experience working in IT projects / programs and ability to bring in knowledge in project management and agile tools and methods.
  • Multiple years of experience working in controlling, finance or auditing with/for multinational organizations.
  • Solid consulting skills from problem-solving, effective communication and customer orientation to deep organization and planning skills.
  • Technology knowledge and functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Business Transformation, Change Management, Digital Service & Platform Development, Rollout & Industrialization.
  • Fluent English and German language skills, spoken and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), Atlassian tools and relevant Controlling applications
