What you will do

• Coach and mentor up to 6 direct reports.
• Define expectations, collect, and deliver feedback to direct reports.
• Build and support career development plans for team members.
• Participate in performance-related decisions, including salary calibrations and under-performance remediation.
• Lead ad hoc projects to structure engineering initiatives (e.g., technical demos, All Hands).
• Translate functional requirements into elegant and simple software designs.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior software engineer working on a product in production (usually 7-8+ years).
• Experience in people management of at least 2-3 years.
• Proven experience designing object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
• Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude.
• Fluent level of English required.
